Friday 18th March 2016 Topalov played the delayed Shuffleduck in his candidates match against Giri. The picture above is from the Chess base website.
There is a better line than Topalov played which is given by Williams on the Chessbase site and it will be in CBM 171 which will be released shortly.

Relevance to Pure Shuffleduck Theory:
In The Shuffleduck we recommended 2.Nf3 in the position following 1.h4 Nf6.
2.d4 cannot be bad here, effectively playing a reversed Reti.
It would be an unlikely continuation but if Black continues with 2.g6 3.c4 would be the recommended move and we would of course go along with Simon Williams recommendation in the above video.
If our 1.h4 was met by g6, we would of course play 2.h5 and so this game is not relevant to this line of the Shuffleduck system.
Reverting to 1.h4 Nf6 2.d4 the most likely move by Black is e6, following which we would recommend 3.c4 and after Be7 or similar moves 4.Nc3 or 4.Nf3 should be played with easy equality.
